How long are the appointments?

If you are coming for an individual session, the appointment is one full hour (60 minutes). If you are coming for group, the appointment is 1.5 hours (90 minutes). Couples sessions are a minimum of 120 minutes. 

How much does it cost?
$250 per hour. Group rates and retreat rates differ.
Do you take credit cards?

Yes, I accept Mastercard, Visa, and some HSA cards.

What are the hours of operation?

The office hours are by appointment.

To respect everyone’s privacy please don’t drop in. The door is locked during sessions anyway.

When you are here for an appointment the time is dedicated solely to you—no interruptions.

With whom do you work?

Anyone over the age of 18 years.

What happens at the first appointment?

The first appointment gives you a chance to get more comfortable.

We will talk about the past, present, and future. This is our starting point. It always gets better and better with each appointment.

What kind of therapy do you offer?

I will tailor treatment specifically for you and your comfort level.

I have trained in several modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Bio Acoustical Utilization Device (BAUD), Hypnosis, Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I also use a variety of strategies, including Mindfulness, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Guided Imagery, Gestalt, and more.

How long have you been in practice?

I began my practice in 2000. Yes, I am as old as I look.

Where did you get your degree?

I received my master’s degree in clinical social work at the University of South Florida.

Do I have to tell you everything?

Nope. Just like in Vegas, what is said here, stays here.

Can I ask personal questions?

Of course, you can ask anything. I may not answer every question though. Remember this is all about you!

Am I going to cry a lot?

You may cry sometimes. You will also laugh.

What do I need to bring?

I have plenty of high-quality tissues, paper, and pens.

If it’s your first visit, bring the new client paperwork. If you have been coming, bring your homework assignment. You won’t need anything else.

I also have decent coffee, tea, and nice cold water.
